Sales, Derivatives to Middle East/GCC corporates, Qatar, $Highly Competitive
Our client is a top ranked global investment bank with a massive presence in the Middle East and the GCC area.
They have had excellent numbers and are regarded as one of the top performers for the last 5 years in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait.
They are now expanding their Qatar (Doha) and Bahrain based teams. The teams structure and distribute derivatives across FX/Interest Rate/Commodity and Fixed Income selling to corporate clients (mainly trading houses, mid caps, large caps and Small Medium Enterprises-SME) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
They are now looking to add an exceptional individual with a proven track record to join their progressive sales team.
Key responsibilities:
-pricing and selling derivatives to corporate clients in Middle East/Northern Emirates/GCC area,
-monitoring the local corporate market for potential clients,
-maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in Qatar and Bahrain,
-conducting meetings with the treasury department and the sales team in Dubai.
Key skills:
-Ideally a proven track record of selling to a corporate client base in the Middle East/GCC,
-strong derivatives knowledge, ideally on interest rate and foreign exchange,
-a good understanding of the local market, politics and culture of the region,
-excellent sales and communication skills,
-Fluency in English is essential for this role.
