Sales, Asian Equities (ex Japan) sales trader, Singapore, $Highly Competitive
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top ranked equity house with a major presence in Asia, Europe and USA.
They are now expanding their Singapore based sales team and they are looking to add a number of strong individuals to their team.
The team sells Pan Asian Equities to institutions (banks, hedge funds, long only funds, asset managers, and insurance companies) in the greater South East Asia market.
Key responsibilities
-Sales and trading of Pan Asian (Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysian, Chinese, Thai) Equity,
-Selling to institutional investors in South East Asia (mainly hedge funds, long only funds and banks),
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the Asian market.
Skills required:
-Very good understanding of the Asian institutional market,
-Strong revenues achieved in a previous role,
-Proven track record of selling Asian Equities to institutions,
-Good Product knowledge,
-Excellent sales and communication skills.
The team will consider strong sales traders at any level of experience. Proven track record of working in a dynamic environment and a proven track record of success in a target driven environment are essential.
